Conferral Specialist, Office of the Registrar, Western Carolina University
April Hicks has worked in the Office of the Registrar at Western Carolina University for six years. April began her career with WCU in the field of transfer services and transitioned to the position of conferral specialist in summer 2016. April is a two-time WCU alumnus and has attended NAACO twice, presenting virtually during the NAACO 2021 Annual Conference on the topic of contingency planning. April is currently working on year 1 of the NAACO certificate, is a part-time adjunct faculty member, and serves on WCU’s Staff Senate.
