Jessica Brown

Prior to her employment with the university events team, Jessica Brown served the University of North Georgia as the associate director of campus recreation & wellness for almost a decade, where her primary responsibilities were to oversee the Outdoor Pursuits Program and the 20+ student workers who assisted her in the management of the program. In her tenure with campus recreation, Jessica planned, implemented, and executed many events for the UNG community, which provided her with a unique perspective in event planning that has assisted her in her transition to the university events team. Since joining the university events team, Jessica has added another unique perspective to her event planning arsenal as she learned how to get creative and plan large-scale events during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education with a minor in leadership in 2009, and then earned her Master of Science in Physical Education in 2012.
