Kira Davis

Kira Davis, born and raised just outside of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has been planning and executing events for 14 years, with 10 of those years being in a post-secondary education setting. As associate director, convocation and events, pro tem at Simon Fraser University, she works with internal and external stakeholders in the strategic planning, development, and implementation of high profile events, with a special focus on convocation. Further, she is responsible for overseeing the production of events and advises and assists university clients with event planning and management to ensure that event protocols and university standards are upheld. Having planned four in-person convocations and three virtual convocations, she knows firsthand about how to pivot and land that pirouette.
