Michael Everett is a faculty member in the Department of Community Sustainability (CSUS). Dr. Everett teaches several courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, along with serving as the associate chair and undergraduate coordinator for CSUS, graduate program coordinator for the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Education MA and undergraduate academic advisor for students in the Department of Community Sustainability. Dr. Everett’s research interests focus on the application of social-psychological theories to human dimensions and educational contexts. Recent work includes the use of flow theory as it applies to student learning in the undergraduate classroom. Additionally, Michael also has an interest in social science aspects related to the use of academic regalia in university settings. Michael is a member and fellow in the Burgon Society, along with serving on the editorial board for the Transactions of the Burgon Society.
